Proudly presenting : Danisa of Argentina!

Belly Fusion (Durban) and The Hip Circle (Cape Town) are proud to bring you Danisa of Argentina in South Africa on 4-5 June (Cape Town) and 11-12 June (Durban).

Danisa's credentials run into pages, as she has devoted most of her life to dancing, starting with ballet and traditional folk-dance and then teaching and performing the merengu in Argentina. (By the 1980's the merengu was so popular, it was even beating the salsa on the airwaves! It is the national dance of the Dominican Republic and to some extent of Haiti). Danisa has travelled in India, Spain, the Middle East, Egypt, Japan and China, perfecting the art of belly dancing and learning the different styles.

You don't want to miss this workshop schedule, which includes an energetic drum solo, as well as some cool Bollywood moves, along with everything else in between.

Hafla Invitation

The Belly Button Dance Studio would also like to invite you to a Hafla on Saturday, June 11th, where Danisa will be the guest soloist. The Hafla is being held at the beautiful Royal Natal Yacht Club on Wilsons Wharf, Durban. Tickets are R50 per person and will be pre-booked (no tickets at the door).

While I was sick last week and spent almost all day in bed or in my recliner, I needed something to keep my hands busy even though I couldn't sit up straight.

SO I MADE ANOTHER BELLYDANCE BRA!

It will now go into the Belly Button store.
