AUTUMN GRATITUDE

While the Northern Hemisphere is welcoming Fall/Autumn, here in South Africa we are enjoying Spring (although it did rather feel like midsummer today!)

The rich shades of the season are a dream to use in creating, and here they are used on my CAS thank you card

My digi sentiment is the star of the show, printed on whit cs, and then matted onto orange, vermilion and tan cs.  The embellishments are three acrylic leaf charms, tied with gold cord bows.

Thanks for visiting today

CAS AND GIRLY

What can be more girly than pink make up?

I created the eye shadow compact by punching three rounds into black cs.  Pink eye shadow was smudged onto white cs a matted behind the back cs using foam pads.  Silver cardstock was used as the background.

To complete the card I used a digital image of a make up brush and a sentiment that I printed directly onto the base card.

CHARITY CARD FOR A BOY

Many of the cards I make are for charity, and this is one of the cards delivered to St Monica's Children' Home this morning

I have had this image on file for a very long time, and can't remember where I got it :(.

UPDATE : It's an image by Crissy Armstrong. It's called Best Buds.  She had it as a freebie a while back but it's now available in the Whimsy Stamps store.

It was coloured using alcohol markers

The ingredients for this card:

white cs base
blue cs mats
gingham dp
ribbon
button

ANYTHING BUT A CARD MONDAY WITH BUGABOO STAMPS

I used the envelope punch board to make the little envelope

dp on the outside and cs on the inside, and used wettish glue to stick them together.
Before the glue was completely dry, I dry embossed it - this helped to stick it together and to enhance the embossing.

I also made a bow (using the envelope punch board)

The sentiment is from Bugaboo :  Ruby Chocolate - Nature's Way

LADYBUGS AND CHOCOLATE!

I used digital paper printed onto white cs and the envelope punch board to make this chocolate bar gift wrapper.

It was embellished with washi tape, punched border, glittered flowers and a gem.

PLAYING WITH MY SILHOUETTE CAMEO

The SVG cut is from Birds Cards, and was cut on white cardstock.  The luscious colour and chine was achieved by spritzing with a non-permanent hair colour (for health reasons I was afraid to use it on my hair) and once it was dry, I sprayed on a sealer so that it didn't smudge.

I also used an embossed background, pink cs mat, Card Candi legless brads and silver cord.
